【海外釣り】エビングでハガツオ、ヒラマサそしてトローリング　【BOTANY BAY FISHIG】Trolling off shore, Ebing at Peak and 12mile

４月中旬、今年は夏が長く、海もまだ海水温が高い。最近は沿岸部がイマイチでベイトがいない。　久々に沖へ出てみると近頃ずっとイマイチだったポイントにベイトが復活。潮が激流でリバースかけながらでないと釣りが成立しないものの、ベイトにはそれを食べる魚がついている感じ。夏の釣りはこれが最後になりそうで、次からは真鯛の乗っ込み、５月下旬には遠征の予定。

In mid-April, this year’s summer has been long, and the sea temperature is still high. Recently, the coastal areas haven’t been great, with no baitfish around. After heading offshore for the first time in a while, I found that baitfish had returned to a spot that had been underperforming for some time. The current was extremely strong, making it necessary to reverse drift to fish properly, but where there’s bait, there are fish feeding on it. This will probably be my last summer fishing trip, and next up will be the snapper spawning season. Toward the end of May, I have a longer expedition planned.
